Looking for something for the whole family to do together? Something that’s fun for all members, ages, and is educational as well as entertaining?
Take a day trip to nearby Fredericksburg and visit the Virginia Renaissance Faire. Located in Stafford County just five miles east of Fredericksburg off Route 3, Kings Highway, the Faire is one of five like it in the United States and the only one close to us here in Rappahannock.
It’s a trip to another world, a place of magic, knights, lords and ladies, courtiers, minstrels, heroes, villains, beggars, peasant folk, mystical beings, a few fairies and many other wonderful characters. The inhabitants of this land of the past are consummate actors and stay in role while improvising and expanding their dialogue to include the visitors to their kingdom.
