The time flies so swiftly as it is time again for the Salem Community “Pickin and Singing” party to be held at their fire hall on Friday, May 16 at 7 p.m. As usual the fire department will be selling dinner plates, so come on out and enjoy the music and some food, thereby support the department.
We’d like to congratulate the young people of our area who made the honor roll at Wakefield for the third eight week grading period, namely tenth grader, Louisa Engle, Alex Kelly, 12th grader, Ben Kelly, fifth and Jamie Kelly, an eighth grader.
Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Homer of Unionville were Mother’s Day guests of Misses Mary Tharp and Margie Williams.
