The Lady Panthers jumped out to 5-0 lead in the first inning last Tuesday against George Mason and went on to win 17-1.
Margo Haynes pitched for Rappahannock on Tuesday.
She threw a two-hitter while giving up only one earned run. “Margo is doing a great job on the mound for us,” said Coach Carl Payne.
Meghan Fairbrother led off the first inning with a single and scored on a RBI by Haynes. Keirsten Kerr and Angela Atkins also singled in the first for Rappahannock.
The Lady Panthers scored three more runs in the second off of hits by Kerr, Emily Taylor, and A. Atkins.
