to extend the review date for the temporary location of the Hearthstone School from Sept. 1, 1999 to Sept. 1, 2000 and to increase the maximum number of students allowed from 30 to 40. They also requested permission to use an additional room on the bam structure, where the school is located. In addition, it was requested the permanent site amendment review date be extended for the same length of time as the other.

The applicants said the extension of the application is necessary due to the fact that it is taking them longer to get enrollment up and the program underway successfully than they had originally thought. They called their earlier application “ambitious.” All the requests were approved by the commission. The matter will now go before the Rappahannock Board of Supervsors.
