The program for the day was a discussion of floral design led by club member Celine Siira who recently attended a Flower Show School sponsored by the VFGC, Inc. in Roanoke. Her presentation, with a demonstration arrangement, helped members see a design from a judge’s point of view.
President Betty Wood presided over the business portion of the meeting. Members were urged to attend a special Memorial Service in memory of club members and loved ones at the Courthouse on May 27 at ten a.m. Later that week, on May 29 at 10:30 a.m. the members are asked to return with work gloves and tools to participate in the Spring cleanup of the Courthouse grounds.
