The United Methodist Women will hold their annual Spring yard sale on May 2 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Amissville United Methodist Church. They will have baked goods, luncheon items, clothing for the whole family, a white elephant table with lots of bargains, household items, toys, and lots of other great deals for folks of all ages. Hope to see you there.
The Rappahannock Lions Club will be holding their annual benefit auction on Saturday, May 9 at the Washington fire hall beginning at 6 p.m. Donations of new or used items are appreciated; however, food, clothing, mattresses, or non-working appliances cannot be accepted. If you have items you would like to donate and need to have them picked up, contact Roger Andrews at 987-8974, Hal McDermott at 675-1028 or any Lions Club member. All donations are tax deductible.
