Nannie Virginia Leake, 83, died Sunday, April 19 at the Culpeper Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. Leake was born July 2, 1914, in Rappahannock County, the daughter, of the late John and Ira Rutherford.
Survivors include one daughter Mary Ann Leake of Sperryville; two sons James W. Leake of Sperryville and Thomas W. Leake of Chester Gap; eight grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
Mrs. Leake was preceded in death by her husband, James W. Leake; a son, Robert Rutherford; three sisters and two brothers.
A grave side service was held on Wednesday at the Sperryville Cemetery with the Rev. James Burke.
Pallbearers were Tony Leake, Jeff Leake, Mike Leake, Gary Leake, Brian West and Aaron West.
Honorary pallbearers were Lee Settle, Terri Brooks, Lynn Settle, Betty West and Lori Tharpe.
Found and Sons Funeral Home in Culpeper was in charge of the arrangements.
John Jenkins Sr.

John William Jenkins Sr., 76, of Culpeper, died Wednesday, April 15 at the University of Virginia Hospital in Charlottesville.
He was born May 28, 1921 in Rappahannock County to the late Cooper and Bessie Jenkins.
Mr. Jenkins was a farmer in the Boston area for many years, but is best known as the Owner of the Diamond Cab Company.
Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Ethel Jenkins of Culpeper, two sons, John W. Jenkins Jr., of Culpeper, Frank E. Jenkins, of Richmond; one daughter, Doris J. Clatterbuck of Culpeper, five grandchildren, John W. Jenkins III, Scott Jenkins, Mike Jenkins, Frank Jenkins Jr., Kimberly Gunn, and three great-grandchildren, John W. Jenkins TV, and Colton Gunn and Courtney Gunn.
He is also survived by one brother George E. Jenkins of Culpeper; five sisters, Anna Covington, Florine Hitt, Virginia Winn and Mary Hash, all of Culpeper, and Peggy Wayland of F redericksburg.
Mr. Jenkins was preceded in death by three brothers Ashby Jenkins, Jessie Jenkins
