Edna Cloud Mills, 74, of Castleton, died on Saturday, April 18 at Winchester Medical Center.
She was born in Rappahannock County on Aug. 5, 1923. She was a merchant. Her parents were the late John B. Cloud and Sarah Lucy Tharp. Her husband was the late James P. Mills.
Survivors include three sons, James I “Tom-Kitty” Mills, Donald Ray “Bubba” Mills and Jerry Lee Mills all of Castleton; five grandchildren, Stephen Mills, Chrystal Mills, Shirley Mills, Rebecca Mills, Mary Mills and one sister, Lucy Pullen of Shenandoah.
Funeral services were held on Tuesday, April 21 at Clore Geest Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. L.D. Savage officiating. Interment was in Forest Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Viewtown.
Pallbearers were Arley Estes, Roger Hitt, Stephen Mills, Chris Parrish, Ennis Bawkey and Powell O’Bannon.
Memorial contributions may be made to Amissville Volunteer Fire Department or Rescue Squad.

Thomas Wesley Brown Sr., 65, of Woodville, died Friday, April 17 at his residence.
Mr. Brown was born in Madison County on April 4, 1933 to the late Ila Jenkins Brill and Thomas Grimsley Brown. Mr. Brown grew up in Nethers, Va. in the home of his aunt and uncle Iler and Wesley Jenkins.
Mr. Brown worked on Eldon Farms in Woodville.
Mr. Brown is survived by his wife of 38 years Peggy Ann Nicholson Brown; four daughters Sharon A. Brown of Woodville, Barbara A. Hoffman, Brenda A. Brown
