Charlie TompkinsTompkins
is a long-time town resident and owner of the Charles Tompkins Traditional Photographic Prints gallery on Main Street. An incumbent council member, Tompkins chairs the Wastewater Survey committee and is working to develop the town’s website.

Louise Van Dort
Incumbent treasurer Van Dort is a 12-year, full-time resident of the town. She has been a past member and chairman of the Planning Commission and is a board member and treasurer of the Friends of the Rappahannock County Library. She has also been past chairman/member of the board of directors of the Child Care and Learning Center since 1992, treasurer of RAAC since 1994 and a board member of that organization since 1988. From 1989-1994 Van Dort served as volunteer Administrative Assistant to the council, and was project manager for the water system upgrade. “I know the time commitments required and possess the computer skills needed to fulfill the duties of treasurer for the town,” said Van Dort.
Eilene Viguerie
Viguerie has “owned and operated several small businesses and have an aptitude for dealing with and managing people. I keep my own books in my business. I’m on the Internet and I use my computer extensively in my business and, while I don’t repair computers, I am computer literate. I feel qualified as treasurer.” Viguerie owns and manages a small, home-based business as an independent distributor for environmentally safe, nontoxic, natural products.
