runners some great competition. Mary Leigh McDaniel, first last year for the 40-44 age group, is returning and Judy Allen and Merry Foresta, first and third last year respectively, will return in the 45-49 age group.
In the over 50 age group for women, last year’s first place winner Magaret West will return along with last year’s second . place winner, Kerry Wagner.
Last week it was reported that people from Maryland, New York, Washington, D.C., New Jersey and even California have registered along with Virginians of course. This week Florida can also be added to that list.
The participants compete for a cash prize of $300. The course record for men is 31:26 and for women, 36:46 but
