Many of the stories being presented on May 2 emerged out of the autobiography workshops, “Creating My Autobiography,” that Julie Portman, artistic director of Ki Theatre, has been teaching for the past two years. As Morgan has said: “As a result of Julie's autobiography workshop, a group of us has continued to focus our lives by writing ‘creative non-fiction’ stories. I have come to realize how many amazing stories there are of people’s resilience in the face of challenges. I truly believe that there is ‘no ordinary person’.”
