As of April 19, 177 people had registered for this year’s running of the annual Fodderstack 10-K Race, run from Flint Hill to Washington.
Race organizers say while this is just slightly below last year’s pre-registration they are excited and expect that by week’s end there will be a new record set. In fact they hope they don’t, run out of T-shirts on race day.
There are many repeat runners and walkers registered and some previous winners have already signed on. The overall men’s winner Mark Vann, who had a time of 38:56 last year will be back along with Tim Atwell and Alexander Strange, first and second in last year’s 12 and under group. James Morsink and Earl Jewell, first and second, respectively, in the men’s 30-34 group last year, will return as will Jim Shaughnessy who was first for
