The elected delegates and alternates, Lillian Aylor of Sperryville, Ray Brown of Amissville, Esther Schmidt and Franklin Schmidt of Woodville and Bob Weinberg of Woodville, defeated the one remaining Spannaus candidate by an average of more than 60 votes.
At the time of filing for the caucus, Friday, April 18 at 5 pm., the LaRouche candidate, Nancy Spannaus, had a group of five Rappahannock candidates to run for election as delegate. Between then and the caucus, four of those candidates withdrew from the race leaving one Rappahannock resident who supported LaRouche candidate.
