From the West Coast, en route to an engagement in New York, “The Flying Pisanos” plan a stop in Washington to give a concert at The Theatre in Washington on Saturday, May 8 at 8 p.m.
The name “The Flying Pisanos” was suggested to John and Jeanne Pisano by Herb Alpert, with whose Tijuana Brass John played guitar for several years as founding member. John has played with som,e of music’s great names, including Frank Sinatra, Peggy Lee, Burt Bacharach, Sergio Mendez and Barbara Streisand. He is recognized as one of the world’s preeminent jazz guitarists.
