Those who carry the knowledge of life’s finite nature are aware that there is no time to waste when it comes to declaring love and offering kind words of comfort. In the words of George William Childs, “I would rather have a plain coffin without a flower, a funeral without a eulogy, than a life without the sweetness of love and sympathy.
