The Panthers had a tough schedule last week, playing two district games and one non-district game.
On April 27, Rappahannock played its first district game at home against Manassas Park and lost 2-0. Manassas Park pitcher Jennifer Steele threw a perfect game, not giving up any hits or walks while striking out 17 batters.
Lauren Sharp, who pitched for Rappahannock, was just as “sharp” Tuesday. She allowed two hits while striking out ten batters. She also did not give up an earned run.
The Lady Panthers played another district game on April 29 in Falls Church against George Mason. The Panthers won 9-2 and gained their first district win. Sharp struck out 14 batters while
