Rev. and Mrs. Stephen Clinedinst spent last weekend in Brownville, where Rev. Clinedinst conducted services for Rev. Chappell.
Sympathy is extended to Mrs. Shirley Hitt and family of Castleton upon the passing of her sister, Mrs. Rachel Jenkins, which occurred in at Charlottesville Hospital Friday.
Bells were ringing on Monday in observance of the wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Jim Peyton.
Mr. and Mrs. Ray Frazier and Christopher of Turkey Ridge Road and Mrs. Alvin Atkins of Sperryville were Mother’s Day guests of Mrs. Eunice Meade on Hash Lane. Mrs Linda Weakley of Standardsville made a pre-Mother’s Day visit with Mrs. Meade on Wednesday.
Belated birthday wishes go out to Nina Peyton whose day was Monday and to Pearl Cubbage whose day was Tuesday. Also to a very close friend, Aileen Pettit who added another year on Tuesday!
