busy two days exploring ancient artifacts at the Smithsonian Museum of Natural History and then went on to Baltimore for a “camp-in” at the Maryland Science Center. At the center, they took in a show at their planetarium and enjoyed many hands -on activities. The trip concluded with a visit to the Baltimore Aquarium. This educational trip provided the students with the opportunity to expand their knowledge of many topics covered in their history and science classes. * Final exams are coming! The week of May 17-21 will be review week. Please note that during review week, school will be dismissed at 3:15 everyday for all students.

• On Friday, May 14 at 6:30 p.m. athletes will be honored at the WCDS Athletic Banquet to be held at the school’s auditorium. The buffet dinner will be followed by award presentations and other fun-filled festivities.

• All WCDS families are asked to get involved and participate in the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life taking place on May 21. This a marathon celebration of life dedicated to present and former cancer patients, their families, and friends. We hope to put together a team that will represent WCDS in this
