Ethel Elizabeth Dean, 94, of Front Royal died Thursday, May 6 in the Longterm Care pursing Home in Woodstock.
She was born June 20, 1904 in Flint Hill, the daughter of the late Edwin Louis and Mandy Anna Taylor Adams. She was predeceased by her husband Randolph Dean.
Mrs. Dean was a member of the St. Paul Baptist Church, was on the Usher Board and past president of the Usher Board of the Community Baptist Church of New York City for 25 years.
, Funeral services were conducted at the St. Paul Baptist Church May 10 with the Rev. Jajnes Bridgett officiating.
•Interment followed at the Good Hope Cemetery.
* She is survived by two sisters, Margaret G. Jordan of New York City and Roberta Befll Alsberry of Strasburg and one brother, Robert W. Adams of Washington, D.C.
Arrangements were by Turner-Robertshaw Funeral Home in Front Royal.

r She attended Averett College in Danville and received her BA degree in English from Cober College in Hartsville, S.C., where she was a member of Sigma Tou Delta Honorary English
