On Mother’s Day, Mrs. Kinsey Wharton was honored by her husband, children, grandchildren and greatgrandchild with a home cooked meal which they prepared. She was also showered with cards, flowers, and gifts. Those present were Mr. and Mrs. K.M. Wharton, Cindy, and Michael of Amissville, Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Atkins and Kelly of Sperryville, Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Atkins of Washington, Mr. and Mrs. Joshua Hitt and Nicholas of Sperryville and Mr. and Mrs. Doug Cumins, Jake, Joe, and Julie of Centreville. Mrs. Wharton spent the day taking it easy. This is very unusual for her. She prefers to keep busy.
Mother’s Day visitors of Mrs. Audra Crawford were Jim and Lillian Sykes, Brad, Missy, Thomas, Michael, and Damien of Culpeper, Curtis and Katherine Crawford of Flint Hill, and Opie, Nancy, Charles and Elizabeth Crawford of Sperryville.
Charles and Patsy Whorton hosted a Mother’s Day dinner on Sunday. Those attending were her mother, Josephine Vest, and her grandmothers, Mrs. Christine Vest of Flint Hill and Mrs. Vallee Butler.
Rodney Vest, Norma Holt, Todd, Kim, Ashley, and Logan Vest were also in attendance.
