She was a member of Gid Brown Bible Baptist Church.
She is survived by four daughters, Frances Pullen and her husband, Roy Sr., Judy Scroggins and her husband Jeff Sr., all of Washington, Diane Maddox and her husband Sidney of Rixeyville and Mary Baldwin and her husband Larry Sr. of Culpeper.
Additional survivors include four brothers, Ebb M. Atkins Jr. of Manassas, Huey Atkins, Melvin Atkins and George Atkins, all of Sperryville and five sisters', Juanita Atkins, Jane Baker, Ruth Atkins and Elsie Atkins, all of Sperryville and Annie Huff of Flint Hill.
She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by one grandchild, Karen Marie Baldwin.
Funeral services were conducted on May 11 at Found and Sons Chapel with the Rev. John K. Burke, Dr. Charles Shifflett and Pastor Danny Courtney officiating. Interment followed at Sperryville Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Wayne Walker, Albert Payne, Nelson Jenkins, Branson Jenkins, Edward L. Pullen and Edward J. Pullen.
Honorary pallbearers were Charles Pullen, Jim Dwyer, Ross Woodward, Robert Jenkins and David Pullen.
