With Ethan Berry at the helm of the Panther offense, Rappahannock moved the ball to 1st and 10 when Berry aimed a 30-yard bullet at Brandon Lee to put them on their own 47-yardline. A shotgun pass to White ijiched them down the field, but a pass interception by the Mavericks put them back into dangerous scoring position once again.

And score they did. With just under three minutes left in the first quarter, a quick handoff to Moore Catholic’s Rob Imburga gained the Mavericks a comfortable 0-20 lead.

With a turnover on downs, the Mavericks were back on offense quickly.
