Israeli bom pianist Michael Tsalka has agreed to give this first piano recital and has chosen an exceptionally attractive program of preludes by Chopin, sonatas by Mozart and Haydn, bagatelles by Beethoven, and Schubert’s Impromptu in cminor, among other works.
Tsalka is a winner of many international prizes and awards, among them first prize at the Genoa International Competition in 2000, and fellowships and awards in Paris, Rome, Bayreuth, Sardinia, Berlin, and Frankfurt, where he received the Pestalozzi Award.
