This writer. visited the Rappahannock County High School on Wednesday, Oct. 27 for the dedication of a new hood for the Culinary Arts kitchen. The students had prepared a four-course meal for those who made it possible for them to get the new hood. I have to say that the students prepared a fine meal.
It was a warm Halloween night in the Town of Washington with the children dressed in costumes of all kinds. They were filled with giggles and smiles as they came through the door of the Rappahannock News and were eagerly holding out their bags and would say “treat-or-treat.” Some of the little ones could hardly say the words. The little goblins were raking in the goodies from house to house.
A number of people have been kind enough to point out that the MacPherson’s had a giant purple spider on their roof. They found it rather frightening, but wheft the MacPherson’s politely asked it
