Country Day School kindergarten and second grade ghosts, goblins, princesses, action heroes, and other delightful characters spent the better part of Friday morning visiting with residents of the Lynn Care Center at Warren Memorial Hospital. Tb help celebrate the children brought individual cards for each of the residents. After touring room to room, the classes assembled in one of the general meeting centers and recited with great gusto the poems, “October,” “Halloween,” and “The Squirrel.” The second graders then sang an African slave song, and the kindergartners closed out the morning with a rousing rendition of the “13 Nights of Halloween.”
