Seminar

Some 30 participants representing 28 Rappahannock County nonprofit organizations attended a seminar Saturday, Oct. 30 at the Town Hall in Washington. Sponsored by the county’s newly-organized Nonprofit Center whose mission is to provide technical assistance and information to local nonprofit organizations, the seminar explored practical ways to approach budgeting problems, board development, strategic planning, fund development, and creative partnerships with other organizations. Presenters included Martin Woodard, Linda Dietel, and Alexia Morrison. Michael Mahoney moderated the seminar and Jenny Millan was program coordinator.
