Misty Hitt is fully recovered from her surgery and will be back on her mail route this week. She greatly appreciates all the cards and calls from the community wishing her a speedy recovery'. It was the first time she had been off for health reasons in 18 years.

The old days
During the 1920s the Front Royal Record included a section named “Rappahannock Notes." In the October 1928 issue, a news item appeared indicating that Blue Ridge Power was the first company to bring electricity to Rappahannock in the spring of 1927.
