Annual dinner
The Amissville Volunteer Fire and Rescue Company will hold its annual Ham and Turkey Dinner on Saturday, Nov. 13 at the Fire Hall in Amissville. Serving begins at 5 p.m. and continues until 8 p.m. Cost is $12 for adults, $6 for children 5-10 years old, under 5 are free. For more information call 937-5125

Blue Ridge Yarns at Misty Mountain Farm in Amissville will sponsor an Open House Saturday, Nov. 13 from 10 a m. to 4 p.m. There will be spinning and weaving demonstrations and visits with sheep, goats and llamas. The farm is two miles south of Hackley’s Store on Viewtown Rd. Call 937-4707.
CCLC auction
CCLC's ninth annual Fall Auction and Party will be held Saturday, Nov. 13 at the Washington School on Mt. Salem Avenue. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. to a sumptuous gourmet feast prepared by the RCHS Culinary Arts class. A $20 entry fee entitles guests to food, libations, and fun. Tae Kroon Do class
Students at all levels and of all ages will perform in a Tae Kwon Do demonstration at Highland School, 597 Broadview Avenue in Warrenton on Saturday.
