Annual dinner
The Amissville Volunteer Fire and Rescue Company will hold its annual Ham and Turkey Dinner on Saturday, Nov. 13 at the Fire Hall in Amissville. Blue Ridge Yarns at Misty Mountain Farm in Amissville will sponsor an Open House Saturday, Nov. 13 from 10 a m. to 4 p.m. There will be spinning and weaving demonstrations and visits with sheep, goats and llamas. The farm is two miles south of Hackley’s Store on Viewtown Rd. Call 937-4707.
CCLC auction
CCLC's ninth annual Fall Auction and Party will be held Saturday, Nov. 13 at the Washington School on Mt. Salem Avenue. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. to a sumptuous gourmet feast prepared by the RCHS Culinary Arts class. A $20 entry fee entitles guests to food, libations, and fun. Tae Kroon Do class
Students at all levels and of all ages will perform in a Tae Kwon Do demonstration at Highland School, 597 Broadview Avenue in Warrenton on Saturday.
