• All Rappahannock County government offices will be closed on Monday, July 3 and Tuesday, July 4 in observance of Independence Day. • The Rappahannock County Board of Supervisors July meeting will be held on Wednesday, July 5 at 2:00 PM. • On Thursday, July 6 the Rappahannock County Water and Sewer Authority will meet at 7:30 p.m. at the Rappahannock County Courthouse on Gay Street. • The Rappahannock National Bank will be closed Tuesday, July 4 in observance of Independence Day and will reopen on Wednesday, July 5. • BB&T Bank will be closed Tuesday, July 4 in observance of Independence Day and will reopen on Wednesday, July 5. •The Rappahannock News will be closed on Tuesday, July 4 in observance of Independence Day. All items for publication in the Thursday, July 6 edition should be submitted by 3 p.m. on Friday, June 30. • All Virginia Department of Motor Vehicle (DMV) customer service centers will be dosed Monday, July 3 and Tuesday, July 4 in observance of Independence Day.
