I want to

see you

there!

It’s the traditional waterfilled balloon toss, and the last couple standing in dry clothing is the winner. This survivor game is one of the headliners at the Rappahannock County Fourth of July Picnic next Tuesday at the Rappahannock County Park on Route 211 in Washington.

The old-fashioned all-p.m. and features burgers and dogs, lemonade, homemade cookies and brownies.

And those games - a halfdozen contests for young and old: The three-legged race, horseshoe toss, passing-theorange from chin to chin, spoon races, and the toilet-paperwrapping game, too!

Finally - there will be sack races, because we think we can find the sacks!

Yall come — the red, white, and blue bunting will be on display.

The traditional Fourth picnic is sponsored by the Rappahannock County Democratic Committee which extends a warm welcome to our neighbors of all political persuasions.
