Farm Fair

The Culpeper-Madison-Rappahannock Farm Fair will be held July 26-31 at the Culpeper Agricultural Enterprises on , Route 29 south of Culpeper. The members of the Rappahannock 4-H Livestock Club have been preparing for the fair since January. Kevin Riedel, Caroline Massie, "Samantha Falls, Robert Falls, Timmy Jenkins, Amber Dodos, Conner Forrest, and new members Taylor YowellJKourtney Yowell and Allele Yowl are all exhibiting hogs. Caroline Massie is also raising three market steers and Samantha Falls will be showing markets lambs for the first time. They have been busy feeding, halter breaking and working with their animals.

A clinic was held at Meadow Grove Farm to show the new members of the club how to exhibit and prepare their animals for the show. Keeping data is also an important part of their projects. They will complete record books following the fair.

are also selling raffle tickets for meals at local restaurants to raise money toward the sale of their animals. • Come see the Rappahannock 4-Her’s proudly exhibit their projects at the Swine Show on Thursday, July 27, the Sheep Show on Friday, July 28 and the Beef Show on Saturday, July 29. The sale concludes the show on Monday, July 31 Please come and support our county youth.

Do you bake, sew, paint or grow beautiful flowers? If so, consider entering one of your homemade items in the Culpeper-Madison-Rappahannock Farm Fair. This family friendly farm fair will take place July 27 to July 31 at the n Culpeper Agricultural Enterprises on Rte 29. You and your family can enter items to be judged or can simply go to the fair to support local 4-H members as they show and sell their animals at the 4-H Livestock Show and sale, July 29. Kids and adults can enjoy the petting zoo and the many activities and 1 entertainers who will be performing throughout the week.
