Position to manage the ArcSDE database including quality control, user access and security, and the development of data maintenance procedures. Supports the maintenance of the SDE software, resolves technical issues, and establishes protocols for access by web based tools. Coordinates the establishment of data linkages to other county systems and establishes data maintenance training programs. Determines optimal configuration for spatial data in the geodatabase model, establishes accuracy, ensures topology, and manages instances. Offers professional advice regarding the SDE service and represents the Office of Mapping at public meetings and to local, state, and national agencies. Requires a bachelors degree in Information Technology or related field and four years of directly related experience, including supervisory experience.
