Will began collaborating with other kids in the area while starting to engage the skating culture.
Together they have assembled a team called “Sk8 Ratz” complete with T-shirts and hats splashed with their logo.
Lately they have been filming a home documentary that showcases the team’s stunts.
“We’re street skaters,” said Fabian von Feilitzsch. We just do stunts on whatever we can find.”
The streets usually are not available for long, however. “Basically its O.K to skate anywhere unless they tell you not to,” smiled Evan Espinola. He said that a short time ago some skaters got reprimanded in Flint Hill. Now there are signs posted that prohibit skateboarding in certain areas.
