Special to the Rappahannock News
Plans are underway for the 2006 Taste of Rappahannock to be held Saturday, September 9, 6:00 p.m., at the beautiful venue of Belle Meade Schoolhouse. This popular fund raising event sponsored by Headwaters, Rappahannock County’s Public Education Foundation, kicks off the county’s busy fall season of events and is sure to be a sell-out once again this year.
In fact, Taste of Rappahannock has become so popular that it is limited only by the number of available seats. The evening kicks off with a cocktail reception and live auction featuring oncein-a-lifetime experiences and items, followed by a gourmet dinner with the best food and drink Rappahannock has to offer. Co-chair Terri Lehman promises that everyone will be pleased with what is being planned for this year’s menu.
The Taste of Rappahannock is made possible through the generous donations of local and regional businesses, organizations and private donors. Taste planning co-chair Cheri Woodard and sponsorship
