All of the structures now have other uses. The huge complex near the substation in Sperryville housed the Rappahannock Cold Storage Co-operative. The cold-storage portion of the operation continued operation through the 1980s. The enormous building, today housing an array of antique vendors, is still awe-inspiring (and comfortably cool inside all year round).

Another building in the same complex housed the Blue Ridge Fruit Grower Co-op, which concentrated on juice production, marketing its products under names such as Skyline Drive and Red Creek.
