Animal Care and Control
Seeks individual to care for and work with animals who is also people oriented, self motivated and dedicated to improving the welfare of animals. Candidate's primary functions are the health and welfare of various types of animals. Duties include cleaning of cat cages and dog kennels, feeding animals, administering medications, assisting with adoption matchmaking, and, when necessary, performing euthanasia. Candidates must be available to work all shifts, including mornings, evenings, nights, weekends and holidays. Requires a High School diploma and at least one year of job-related experience. Basic knowledge of and experience handling dogs, cats and other companion animals is required. Experience in a kennel or veterinary office is preferred. Must have the ability to control large and potentially dangerous animals over 100 pounds and lift animals Weighing up to 75 lbs. Successful candidate will undergo a background investigation, physical exam and drug screening. ASSISTANT BOOKKEEPER
Clerk of Circuit Court
Assists In the preparation and review of all daily financial reports to meet daily accounting requirements. Consults with the Bookkeeping clerk to resolve receipt or report discrepancies. Prepares financial reports for the Financial Management System (FMS) and records accounting data as required by die Code of Virginia, the Supreme Court of Virginia and the Auditor of Public Accounts. Reviews Lists of Allowance forms submitted to the Clerk by attorneys, guardian ad litems, court reporters, foreign language Interpreters, forensic scientists and other professionals who perform services for the Circuit Court in criminal court cases. Examines and certifies the authenticity of all submissions before seeking approval for payment from the ■fudges. Processes the office paper and forms supply requisitions. Prepares a report on the monthly usage of the office credit cards. Collects all required reports amt credit card receipts from staff for audit purposes. High School diploma or equivalent and four years experience are required. Job contingent upon successful criminal background Check.
