How strong and how steady are the waves of the sea! When we look at the ocean we can glimpse the nature of God’s mighty power and love. It Is predictable. Ills dependable. The waves will crash upon the shore with the rhythm that has continued from the time the seas were created, this we do not question. Perhaps the question we must consider is one concerning our faith in God and brHIs Word. Is it as steady and as strong as the waves of the ocean? Does our faith in God shape our consciousness as the waves shape the line of the shore? In Isaiah 48:18, God proclaimed, “...your peace would have been like a river, and your righteousness like the waves of the sea.” Worship each week in God’s House, and learn such trust in Him that your faith will flow with the strength and constancy of the waves of the sea.
