Answer: It’s not solved but we now have a workable Plan A (Grant Anticipation financing) and a workable Plan B (establishing a credit line, with interest deferred until user fees start coining in.

Answer: My advise is to contact the health department and the State Water Control Board to seek permission to be removed from the plan. The service plan we’re using has been approved by these agencies. We don’t have the authority to alter a plan by them.
Question: How will the new sewer system change Sperryville?
Answer: From my perspective, Sperryville will be improved. Because of the ground water improvement, everyone’s water supply will improve. Property values might go up, or they might not, but the economic impact should be positive. In a wider effect, the quality of the Thornton all the way down will be improved. The attraction of Sperryville for business, tourist, and residential locations will be increased.
