Home Safety Is
No Accident
While most think of their home as their castle, the truth is, homes can be dangerous.
The National Safety Council estimates that home accidents temporarily or permanently disable four million people each year. Another 24,000 people arekilled in home accidents.
Many of these accidents could be prevented.
Keep stairways well lighted and free of debris. Also, make sure that there are sturdy handrails and that the stairs are in good repair. Remembering these precautionary measures will go far in preventing unwanted slips and falls.
