Tally Ho to be presented Sunday
The Rappahannock Woman’s Club will present their annual fashion show on Sunday, April 20, at 2 p.m. at Rappahannock Elementary School.
This year’s show, Tally Ho, will feature fashions from Frank’s and Warren Quality Shop in Front Royal and Jack and Jill in Culpeper. Proceeds will benefit the Rappahannock 4-H Day Camp and a scholarship will be given to an RCHS senior. Advance tickets may be purchased from any member or at the Rappahannock News. Prices are $2.50 for adults and $1.50 for children.
Library series
“Changing Voices, the Southern Literary Renaissance” book discussion series concludes on Monday, April 21, at 7:30 p.m. at the Rappahannock Library. Dr. Peter Wirth will lecture on Robert Penn Warren’s All the King's Men and Richard Abell and Farming Baumgardner will present a dramatic reading from the novel. Sponsored by the National Endowment for the Humanities, the sessions are free and open to the public.
