Rappahannock’s supervisors will know soon exactly how much time they have left to solve the county’s trash dilemma.
Robert Forman, from the Health Department’s Culpeper office of solid and hazardous waste management, has scheduled an inspection of the site on Clifton Clark’s property at 7 a.m. Friday, April 18.
On his last visit to the privately owned and operated landfill in December 1985, Mr. Forman estimated that capacity would run out in April.
The inspection report on file in Mr. Forman’s office indicates that he found problems other than the rapidly diminishing capacity on Dec. 4. Th^« landfill was cited( for failure to cov*jr waste jtfth six inches of earth daily, & requirement that wasn’t met on three of the latest five inspections.
Mr. Forman also called for grading and surfacing of the access road to the dump, a request made as well on two earlier inspections. He noted that approved sanitary facilities
