The Shiloh Baptist Christian Life Committee arid Stewardship Committee will offer a one-day conference on the theme “Global Hunger: Problems and Responses” on May 3 from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Culpeper Baptist Church. -
The featured speaker at the morning and afternoon sessions will be Rev. Gary Gunderson, executive director of Seeds magazine, a nineyear-old education and ministry based in Atlanta, Ga.
Along with these sessions, workshops will be offered in the morning and afternoon. Mr. Gunderson will lead a workshop on the response of local churches to hunger and Dr. Stewart Gruppard will lead
conference on “Stewardship and & Lifestyle.”
A special workshop will be offered by Rev. Paula Dempsey and Nancy Scoggin on the new parenting model to be released in October in the convention “Parenting by Grace.”
Between the morning and afternoon sessions a world hunger meal will be served in the fellowship hall with the offering of the money that would have been spent on lunch given to an organization or group in
