great deal of planning and manpower. However, our largest single source of income comes from donations from individuals. The net income for 1985 was $33,781.38. The next expenses were $29,516.62.
The newly painted banquet hall is available for rental to private individuals and groups. Please call Jim Woodard at 9375480 for reservations.
Apparatus at present include*" a 1967 pumper, 1970 engine, 1975 ambulance, 1984 ambulance, and 1952 Dodge brush truck. We will be putting a squad truck in service very soon. This will respond to assist on auto accidents.
Our membership roll includes 35 active members and four life members. We invite anyone who is interested in the fire department, rescue squad, or fund-raising to please come by the station to talk with the members or call James Stringfellow, chairman of the membership committee.
