Mrs. R» Johnson, Jr., was hostess to the Sperryville Bridge Club at her home on Friday evening.

Guests were Mrs. I. R. Kilby, Mrs. Frances Tabler, Mrs. Mary Quaintance, Mrs. W. H. Cordle, Mrs. Brown Miller, Mrs. Jack Brown, Mrs. T. J. Pillar and Mrs. Ulrich Maeyer.

Prize winners were Mrs. Maeyer, Mrs. Tabler and Mrs. Miller.

Mr. and Mrs. L. M. Carter III and daughter Margaret of Eagle Rock were dinner guests Saturday evening of Mr. and Mrs. Fred W. Schaefer.

Mr. and Mrs. Frank Hume accompanied by Mrs. Mary Quaintance and Mrs. T. M. Johnston visited Keyser, W. Va., Friday.

Mr. and Mrs. Charles (Bill) Baker and Mr. and Mrs. Albert Wharton had dinner last Thursday evening at Dan’s Steak House near Front Royal to celebrate Mr. Baker’s birthday.

Mrs. Otis Stever of Thompsontown, Pa., spent last week with her husband at the home of Mrs.
