Women’s Fair
Women’s Fair ’87 will be held at Lord Fairfax Community College on Thursday, July 23. The day has been set aside for women of all ages including the working mother, single parents, retired female, or homemaker.
A variety of workshops and seminars will be offered free of charge. Several of the introductory workshops offered will include: powder puff mechanics; flower arranging; assertiveness training; raku firing; and understanding and communicating with the man in your life.
Registration begins at 9 a.m. with various workshops scheduled throughout the day. Lunch will be provided for participants, however any children in the child care facilities need to provide a brown bag lunch. The Women’s Fair will conclude at 2:45 p.m.
