Children and teenagers don’t need to attend a health club to get the kinds of exercises necessary for heart health. Children should participate in exercise activities because it’s fun and it makes them feel good about themselves. Team sports such as youth soccer are good for young children.

Studies have shown that adults who exercise regularly are more likely to have participated in sports as youngsters than those adults who do not exercise on a regular basis. This provides yet another reason for parents to encourage their children to become involved in some type of sport they eiyoy. It will likely be of lifetime benefit.
