Technicon Instruments Corporation, an innovative leader in the medical diagnostics industry, seeks an experienced individual to support the Cost Accounting function at its expanding Chemical and Biological Manufacturing facility in Middletown, VA.
Responsibilities encompass the maintenance and utilization of standard product costs; production valuation and variance calculations; inventory control; month-end closings; and participation in budget preparations.
Candidates must possess a minimum of 2 years cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment, and have a working knowledge of various areas of accounting. A bachelor's degree majoring in accounting and specific experience within the process manufacturing industry, as well as familiarity with data processing and personal computers are highly desirable.
