xx .yuu wane 10 ieam tne craft of the Potters wheel and kiln, local artists at the Strasburg Museum offer classes for young people and adults during July and August.
Records indicate that the first potter cpie to Strasburg in 1765, and since that time at least 17 potters have produced earthen and stoneware in the town. There were five pottery shopes operating at one time in the 1860’s, including the wellknown Bell Pottery, and their wares were sold for farm and home use over a wide area in the East.
