The garden at the home of the bride’s parents was the setting at 4 o’clock May 16 for the wedding and reception of Raynetta L. Gheen, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Gheen of Amissville, to Robert L. Huff, son of Mrs. Annie K. Huff of Flint Hill and the late Charles E. Huff.
Rev. Michael L. Lamm performed the ceremony. The Southwind Band played and sang “Forever and Ever. Amen.”
Escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents, the bride wore a lace-covered satin gown inlaid with seed pearls, and carried a bouquet of white, purple and lavender roses and baby’s breath. - Mark Wharton, the groom’s $ nephew, was trainbearer.
Joyce Wharton, the groom’s sister, was matron of honor, wearing a formal deep purple satin gown. Bridesmaids were Cheryl Gheen, the bride’s sister, and Jody Gheen, her aunt, who wore long lavender satin gowns.
