Franklin Riley Jr.
Franklin Eugene Riley Jr., 24, of Culpeper, died July 27.
A native of Warren County, Mr. Riley had lived in Culpeper for many years.
Survivors include his wife Mrs. Pamela Jenkins Riley, a son Jacob Lee Riley, and his mother and stepfather Ann and Robert Martin, all of Culpeper, his father Franklin Eugene Riley Sr. and a half-sister Vickie C. Riley of Warrenton, a halfbrother Robbie Martin Jr. of Culpeper, his grandfather Floyd Riley of Warrenton, and his grandmother Mrs. Frances Estes of Culpeper.
Funeral services were conducted July 30 at the Clore Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. John L. Miller Jr. Interment was at Fairview Cemetery.
James Jenkins
James L. Jenkins, 56, of Bealeton, died July 24 in Fauquier Hospital.
He is survived by his wife Otella A. Jenkins, three daughters, Carolyn Johnson of Manassas Park, Joyce Beaty of Warrenton and Frances Law of Bealeton, two sons, Thomas Jenkins of Chester Gap and John Jenkins of Warrenton, his father Roser Jenkins of Culpeper, seven sisters, Martha Whorton of Culpeper, Mary Woodard of Martinsburg, W.Va., Violet Wood of Amissville, Susie Gallahan of Warrenton, Catherine Brown of Jamesville, N.C., Lorraine Speaks and Helen Marshall of Manassas, 10 grandchildren and one great-grandson.
Funeral services were conducted July 27 at Moser Funeral Home by the Rev. Gertrude Muddiman. Interment was at the Warrenton Cemetery.
Rev. R. T. Alsberry
The Rev. Robert Turner Alsberry, 78, of Front Royal, died July 30 at the Warren Memorial Hospital.
He was bom Aug. 3, 1909, in Rappahannock County, a son of Frank A. and Sarah Elizabeth Jordon Alsberry. He was a retired minister of the Promise Land Baptist Church of Washington, Va.
Surviving are his wife Amanda Elizabeth Alsberry, three sons, Fred Alsberry, Flint Hill, John Alsberry and Junior Alsberry of Manassas, a stepson Roosevelt Foster of Philadelphia, Pa., and four daughters, Louise McClennon of Calverton, Shirley Frye of Sperryville, , Lucy Bridgett of Manassas and Elizabeth Ann Alsberry of Washington, D.C.
